lazy days

vintage place cards
A nice lazy weekend here, spent pottering around the village and catching up with friends. Saturday we popped in to the Wadhurst Farmers & Crafts Market where we bought a zingy lemongrass and green tea candle from Weald Candlemakers and said a quick hello to Jayne who was there with her lovely silver jewellery, both a regular feature of the Friday Arts & Crafts Market. We finished off with five – yes five – sausage rolls (not quite sure how that happened) which disappeared in short order when we got home.

I also weilded the camera in anger to take snaps of some original 1970s Australian place cards, which we’ll be taking along to the fairs. They’re cute little cards and in great condition and they’d make great little gift tags too if you don’t fancy using them on your table. We’ve grouped them together into similar designs and will be selling them for £1 a pack; what a bargain.
