what a good idea

Rye Arts & Crafts Fair
We had a nice day out on Saturday at Rye Arts & Crafts Fair. The sun was shining and I caught up with some familiar faces among the stallholders. Helen, from Dulci Bella, was there again and I was delighted to hear that her marshmallows are really taking off; she’s got a stand at the Glynde Food Festival and the Wealden Times Midsummer Fair. One lovely addition to her range are some sundae dishes, sourced by Shelley at Winifred’s Daughter and filled with pretty marshmallows:

But the highlight of the day happened without me even realising. We got a visit from the lovely people behind Gift Owl, a service designed to take the leg work and guess work out of buying brilliant presents. The first I knew of it was an email on Saturday evening from Chief Owl Amy telling me they had mentioned our invitations on their facebook page. Then I found their web page and was smitten; what a good idea.
