It’s the little things that make me smile

I had hoped to bring you a sneak preview of our Christmas cards today, but we are still wrangling with a font, so it will have to wait until next week. Besides, after days of grey skies and rain we had some sunshine here today, so it seems unkind to turn your minds to Christmas.

Instead I will share an exciting delivery with you; stripy paper bags.

I’ve had my eye on them for a while now and with a couple of fairs on the horizon I finally had the perfect excuse to buy some. I went for the blue ones. So if you come along to Kilndown Village Hall on 20 October or Wadhurst Commemoration Hall on 14 December, you know exactly what your cards will be coming home in…as I said, it’s the little things that make me smile.

And a couple of other little things that made me smile this week:

Pigeon post from the Letter Writers Alliance. Your post goes inside the plastic pigeon.

This little path through the woods on Cabin Porn. I wonder where it goes?
